Definition
- A partition is a legal act whereby the property or a part thereof of a legal person, which does not cease to exist as a result of the partition, is obtained by one or more other legal persons out of which at least one grants membership rights or shares in their capital to the members or shareholders of the demerging legal person or out of which one is founded by the demerging legal person at the time of partition.
