  • A rank change is a stipulation in a notarial deed that is registered in the land register and in which it is determined that a mortgage has a higher rank with respect to one or more mortgages or other limited property rights on the same good than it would be entitled to in accordance with its moment of registration, provided that the persons entitled to the other mortgages or limited property rights agree with it.
